Skating Skirts and Jackets
Worn just for practice, ice skating skirts and jackets offer a more casual option than a skating dress. From stretch velvets to kicky-fun polka dots Lycra, skating skirts are affordable, can be worn with a variety of tops, and will expand your skating wardrobe.
Competition DressesWe’ll design the perfect, exquisite competition ice skating dress with these things in mind: Music, skater’s age and size, theme, and coach’s instructions. Figure skating competition dresses, often embellished, are designed to impress judges, and communicate the emotion of the music and program. Custom competition dresses range from $150.00 and up, depending on style and embellishment.
Artistic Dresses
Less embellished and designed to be interpretive, this category of true costuming ice skating dress, combined with program and music, will tell a story.
Ice Dancing Dresses
Ice dancing is pairs or partner ice skating. Because judges as well as the audience will see both the front and back of the ice dance dress, they’re generally more elaborately embellished on both the front and back. The dress usually will have a longer skirt, dropping down to just below the knees.
Test DressesA skating test is a measure of a skater’s skill level Elegant and sophisticated, test dresses are usually dark in color, made of rich fabrics, often have long sleeves, and will not distract from judges’ evaluations of a skater’s skill and technique.
